Pearly Blue

Pearly Blue is a new collaboration rooted in the front-porch traditions of bluegrass, old-time, and that old country sound. Their style is warm and stripped down—close harmonies, fiddle tunes, and lonesome songs delivered with intention and ease. With a shared love for traditional American music, the trio offers a fresh take on familiar sounds.

The band features three all-star women of Utah’s folk and roots scene: Melissa Chilinski (banjo, guitar) of Pompe and Honey; Megan Nay (fiddle), who recently released her debut solo EP and member of David Burchfield & The Fire Guild – HCL alumnae; and Brielle Petrie (mandolin, guitar), a multi-instrumentalist and part of the Trash Moon Collective. Together, they represent the strength and spirit of Salt Lake City’s music community.
